What is the meaning of these asian gestures?

I have seen a lot of South Korean and Japanese idols making these hand gestures in photos and videos. What do they mean?

Example: Girl group "Nogizaka46" jacket covers for their song, “Seifuku no Mannequin.” See Jacket 'C' and the "Regular Edition."

It's NGZ46's choreography.

However, making the "peace" or "V" sign is popular for photographs just because it is.

Other gestures are just to be cute in one form or another.

Also it doesn't seem to matter in East Asia, it seems acceptable to do the peace sign with the V (the palm
+ other 3 fingers) facing either forward or back. (Whereas in the UK, with the back of the hand facing out, it means eff you.)
